How to handle “stuff”

Literally and metaphorically, dog poop can be quite a problem — so much so, that cities have come up with their own ordinances on just how to ‘handle’ it.

We all have to deal with ‘dog poop’ in our lives, at one time or another, whether you have a dog or not!

Do we pick it up/bag it and neatly throw it away in the nearest royal dog poop bin? Or, do we take it home with us? What are your rules and regulations for it? Do you step over it and keep going…or do you play in it for a little while….ugh!

Perhaps if we create our own disposal bins…and a few systems to keep stuff in check… we could all keep our thoughts relatively clear?!!

So, when the dog bites, when the bees sting, when you’re feeling sad….simply remember your favorite things and then you won’t feel sooooooo bad!!!!

Seriously, though…we could all use some tools…and a little humor to manage the stuff we simply must work our way through!

  1. I have learned that the dog poop in my life is a direct reflection of how well I am managing the walk through life. If I am facing life fearlessly and in grand command of it there is less poop (or at least I see it coming). If I get behind the eight ball (for what ever reason) I step in unexpected poop. When that happens I take a deep breath (taking in all of the glorious aroma), wipe off my shoe, whisper “Oh well” and do better the next time. No judgement. Just take it in stride and keep strolling.

  2. nicely said, because, as is popularly said ‘stuff’ happens
i like the wipe off the shoe part – that’s the dismiss or letting it go!

…any other dog poop stories/suggestions out there?
